How to use

Turn off the power to the switch circuit before beginning work. Remove the existing plate by unscrewing the mounting screws and gently pulling the cover away from the wall. Align the Busch-Jaeger plastic wall plate over the switch mechanism, ensuring the switch actuators pass cleanly through the opening. Fasten the plate with appropriate screws until it sits flush with the wall; avoid overtightening to prevent cracking. Restore power and operate the switch to verify proper clearance and alignment.

Recommendations

For safe handling, always isolate electrical power before replacing the plate. Use standard-size mounting screws compatible with the existing switch box. Clean the plate with a soft cloth and mild detergent; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that can damage the plastic surface.
