Wandplaat / schakelaarafdekking Busch-Jaeger 6230-10-84 wit voor compatibele Busch-Jaeger schakelaars

Busch-Jaeger 6230-10-84 white wall plate is a single-piece switch cover designed to fit compatible Busch-Jaeger mechanism models such as the 6221/1.0, 6211/1.0 and 6108/06. The smooth white finish provides a neutral, discreet look that conceals the mounting area and protects the installed switch mechanism from dust and incidental contact. Supplied as one cover, it simplifies replacement or finishing work when installing or swapping compatible switches.

Advantages

The cover is moulded as a single durable piece that resists yellowing and maintains a uniform appearance over time. Its design aligns with standard Busch-Jaeger mounting dimensions for a precise fit over the switch mechanism while leaving the operating parts accessible. The white colour is chosen to match common interior palettes and to reduce visual contrast with surrounding wall surfaces. Installation requires no additional trim parts when used with compatible mechanisms.

How to use

Turn off power to the circuit before starting any work. Remove the existing cover by unscrewing or unclipping it according to the installed mechanism, then position the Busch-Jaeger 6230-10-84 cover over the switch mechanism so that mounting holes and actuator openings align. Secure the cover with the original screws or clips supplied with the mechanism, ensuring it sits flush against the wall. Restore power and test the switch operation to confirm proper installation.

Recommendations

Use a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent to clean the surface; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that can damage the finish. Confirm compatibility with the installed mechanism model before purchase to ensure correct fit and alignment.
