Warmtebeeld richtkijker PULSAR Thermion 2 LRF XG50 — 640×480 sensor, 50 mm objectief

PULSAR Thermion 2 LRF XG50 is a thermal imaging scope equipped with a 640×480 resolution sensor and a 50 mm objective lens. It is engineered for long-range observation and target detection, combining thermal imaging with an integrated laser rangefinder to deliver both high-contrast thermal images and precise distance measurements. The optical design and sensor sensitivity enable detection of heat signatures in varying light and weather conditions, making the device suitable for extended surveillance, wildlife observation and precision shooting.

Advantages

The combination of a 640×480 thermal sensor and a 50 mm lens provides detailed thermal imagery with extended detection range and improved target recognition. The built-in laser rangefinder supplies quick and reliable distance data to targets, supporting accurate engagement and observation. Robust construction and ergonomic controls are designed for field use, while the device’s image processing and display deliver clear thermal contrast and simplified target identification.

Suitable for

• Long-range wildlife observation and monitoring
• Search and rescue operations in low visibility
• Precision shooting and range estimation
• Security and perimeter surveillance in varied conditions

Key specifications

• Thermal sensor resolution: 640 × 480 pixels
• Objective lens focal length: 50 mm
• Integrated laser rangefinder for distance measurement
• Designed for long-range detection and target identification
• Image processing and display for clear thermal contrast
• Ergonomic controls and rugged field-oriented construction

How to use

Mount the thermal scope securely on a compatible rail or mounting system and power on the device according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Use the optical adjustment and focus controls to obtain a sharp thermal image, then activate the laser rangefinder to measure distance to the detected target. Adjust magnification settings if available to refine the field of view and use image settings to enhance contrast and clarity depending on environmental conditions.

Recommendations

For best results, perform a zeroing or alignment procedure before precision shooting to correlate the thermal sight image with the point of impact. During observation, allow the sensor a short warm-up period for optimal image stability. Protect the device from prolonged exposure to extreme moisture and abrasive environments; use recommended mounts and a stable support for long-range tasks.
