Waterspeelset Simba-Dickie Aquaplay Sploshy Volcano waterspeelgoed

The Simba-Dickie Aquaplay Sploshy Volcano is a plastic bath playset for children aged 1.5 years and older. The multicolour volcano-themed basin and integrated channels let water be poured, guided and splashed to create simple moving-water effects suitable for supervised bath-time or outdoor splash play. Made of durable water-resistant plastic, the set supports sensory exploration, fine motor practice and cooperative play while remaining easy to fill, drain and clean.

Advantages

The Sploshy Volcano provides a stable, open-top basin with shaped channels that reliably guide water flow for repeatable play patterns and hands-on experimentation. The volcano motif adds an imaginative context while the flowing water stimulates sensory perception and timing coordination. Its durable plastic construction is water-resistant and straightforward to rinse and dry, and the simple design is accessible for toddlers to operate with minimal assistance under supervision.

Suitable for

• Supervised splash play in a bath, garden, patio or balcony
• Sensory activities to develop fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination
• Small-group play for 2–3 children encouraging sharing and cooperative interaction
• Basic water experiments and imaginative role play focused on water flow

Key specifications

• Theme: volcano-shaped basin with integrated channels for directing water flow
• Material: durable, water-resistant plastic suitable for wet play
• Intended age: designed for children from 1.5 years under adult supervision
• Usage type: splash play and basic water-flow experiments
• Design: open-top basin with pour and splash areas to allow cooperative interaction

How to use

Place the Sploshy Volcano on a flat, stable surface in the bath or an area where spills are acceptable. Partially fill the basin with water and show the child how to pour water into the channels to create flow and splash effects. Provide cups or scoops for transferring water and encourage experimenting with different pouring speeds and positions to observe changes in flow. After play, empty the basin, rinse to remove residues and allow the toy to dry completely before storage to prevent standing water.

Recommendations

Always supervise children closely during water play. Use on a level surface and keep the playset away from electrical outlets and devices. Rinse and drain the toy after each session and store it in a dry place to extend its lifespan. For very young children, limit water depth and remove any small accessories that could be a choking risk.
