Wirewin 1U blindplaat zonder schroeven zwart RAL9005 (BP 1U BL SL)

In a busy server room, every open rack unit is a potential problem: hot air recirculates, dust settles on sensitive equipment, and the installation looks unfinished. The SLIM WIREWIN BP 1U BL SL blanking panel solves all three issues in seconds. This 19-inch, 1U panel snaps into place without tools, instantly sealing the gap and restoring proper airflow from front to back. Its screwless design means no screws to drop or strip, and removal is just as quick when you need to add new hardware.

Why choose it

Unused rack space can disrupt the carefully planned cooling in your data centre. By blocking empty units, this panel forces cold air through active equipment instead of allowing it to bypass. The result is lower operating temperatures, reduced energy costs, and longer hardware lifespan. The tool-less installation saves time during initial setup and future reconfigurations, while the durable powder-coated steel matches most rack interiors for a clean, professional look.

Ideal use cases

• Data centres and server rooms requiring strict airflow management
• Network cabinets in offices or industrial environments
• Colocation facilities where appearance and security matter
• Any 19-inch rack with unused 1U slots that need covering

Good to know

The panel is designed for standard 19-inch rack widths and fits both square and round mounting holes. Its snap-in mechanism holds firmly but releases easily when needed. For larger installations, multiple panels can be stacked to cover several rack units. The black RAL 9005 colour is a common choice for modern server racks and blends seamlessly with most equipment.
