Wirewin Cat 6a U/FTP slim ethernet patchkabel, RJ45, zwart, 2,0 m PKW-LIGHT-STP-K6A 2.0 SW

In high-density network environments, standard patch cables often create clutter, restrict airflow, and complicate cable management. The SLIM WIREWIN PKW-LIGHT-STP-K6A 2.0 SW solves this by offering a remarkably thin, highly flexible Cat 6a cable that delivers full 10-Gigabit performance without the bulk. Its round, slim profile is ideal for tight spaces, patch panels, and high-port-count switches where every millimeter matters.

Who is it for

This cable is engineered for IT professionals, data center technicians, and network administrators who need reliable, high-speed connectivity in space-constrained installations. It is equally suited for home users with advanced networking setups, such as NAS systems, media servers, or gaming rigs requiring stable, high-bandwidth links. If you manage dense server racks, structured cabling, or simply want a cleaner, more organized network, this cable is for you.

Main features

• Ultra-slim round design: significantly thinner than standard Cat 6a cables, reducing clutter and improving airflow in racks.
• Cat 6a performance: supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet up to 500 MHz bandwidth, future-proofing your network.
• U/FTP shielding: each twisted pair is individually foil-shielded, providing excellent protection against alien crosstalk and EMI.
• PoE ready: fully supports PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ (up to 90W), ideal for powering devices like IP cameras, access points, and VoIP phones.
• High flexibility: easy to route around corners and through cable management arms without kinking.
• Durable RJ45 connectors: gold-plated contacts ensure reliable, corrosion-resistant connections.
• Black color: blends seamlessly into professional environments and hides dust.

Tips

For optimal performance, avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius (typically 4x the cable diameter). When bundling multiple slim cables, use Velcro straps instead of zip ties to prevent over-compression. To maximize airflow in racks, route cables along designated pathways and keep them away from fan intakes. This cable is ideal for high-density patch panels and switches with narrow port spacing.
