WLAN-netwerkkaart DeLOCK 12770 USB 5000 Mbit/s draadloos wit

The DeLOCK 12770 wireless LAN USB micro stick provides USB connectivity for joining WLAN networks. It supports dual-band operation in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz ranges and can connect to access points or WLAN routers, as well as establish ad-hoc links directly with another computer. The compact white USB stick implements common IEEE 802.11 standards and is intended to deliver high-speed wireless connectivity with a maximum data transfer rate of 5000 Mbit/s.

Advantages

The device supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and a wide set of IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac) for compatibility with many networks and routers. USB connectivity makes installation simple on systems with a free USB port, and the compact micro form factor minimises space usage. The stated maximum data transfer rate of 5000 Mbit/s addresses use cases that require high throughput.

Suitable for

• Connecting a desktop or laptop to a home or office WLAN
• Upgrading systems lacking built-in Wi‑Fi
• Temporary ad-hoc networking between two computers
• Dual-band environments requiring 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz support

Use the system network settings to scan for available WLAN networks, select the network or access point, and enter authentication credentials as needed. To set up an ad-hoc connection, choose the peer-to-peer or ad-hoc network mode in the network settings and configure matching network parameters on the second computer.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the 5 GHz band when both the access point and environment support it to reduce interference. Ensure drivers are up to date and place the USB stick where it has a clear signal path to the router or access point.
