Wok/pan GreenPan CC006388-001, rond, 28 cm, zwart, PFAS-vrij

GreenPan CC006388-001 is a 28 cm round wok/stir-fry pan in black designed for everyday frying and stir-frying. The wok features a wide, flared profile and a flat base that provides an even cooking surface suitable for vegetables, meats and stir-fries. Its ceramic, non-PFAS nonstick coating enables easy food release and straightforward cleaning while the single robust handle offers secure handling during tossing and transferring. The pan is intended for use on common household hobs including gas, electric and ceramic cooktops.

Advantages

The ceramic nonstick coating delivers effective food release without the need for excessive oil and resists sticking during typical high-heat stir-frying. The wok’s wide flared sides promote rapid evaporation and even heat distribution across the cooking surface, reducing hot spots. A flat base provides stability on flat hobs and an ergonomically shaped handle ensures a secure grip when moving or tossing ingredients. The overall construction supports routine cleaning and maintenance associated with ceramic-coated cookware.

How to use

Preheat the wok briefly on the chosen hob, then add a small amount of oil if desired; the ceramic nonstick surface allows reduced oil use. Use utensils made of silicone, wood or heat-resistant plastic to avoid scratching the coating. Maintain medium-high heat for stir-frying and reduce heat for simmering or steaming. Allow the pan to cool before cleaning; wash with warm soapy water and a soft sponge, avoiding abrasive pads and harsh cleaners that can damage the ceramic surface.

Recommendations

To preserve the nonstick performance, avoid metal utensils, prolonged dry heating when empty, and sudden temperature shocks. Hand washing is recommended to extend the coating life. Verify base compatibility before using on induction cooktops.
