Vrijetijdsrugzak XD-Design Bobby Hero Small

The Casual backpack XD-Design Bobby Hero Small is a compact navy backpack designed for everyday city use. Constructed from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), it combines a durable outer material with an anti-theft design and water-repellent finish. With external dimensions of approximately 265 mm width, 140 mm depth and 380 mm height, the XD-Design Bobby Hero Small offers organized storage for daily essentials while keeping a low-profile silhouette suitable for commuting, errands and casual outings.

Advantages

The backpack features integrated anti-theft technology that reduces the risk of pickpocketing by keeping openings and zippers close to the wearer. Its PET fabric is durable and resistant to normal wear, while the water-repellent treatment provides protection from light rain and splashes. The compact dimensions make the bag lightweight and easy to carry in crowded urban environments, and the navy colour offers a neutral, versatile appearance that matches a range of outfits and situations.

Suitable for

• Daily commuting in the city
• Short trips and errands
• Carrying personal items, small gadgets and a tablet or similar-sized device
• Users who prioritise anti-theft features in a compact backpack

When it may not be suitable

The XD-Design Bobby Hero Small is not intended for heavy-duty travel or for carrying large volumes of equipment; its compact size limits capacity for bulky items. It may also be less suitable for prolonged outdoor activities that require specialized waterproofing or large external pockets for tools and gear.

Key specifications

• Type: Casual backpack
• Main material: Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
• Colour: Navy
• Approximate external dimensions: 265 mm (W) x 140 mm (D) x 380 mm (H)
• Feature: Anti-theft design

How to use

Carry the backpack on both shoulders for even weight distribution and to maintain close contact with the body for anti-theft effectiveness. Store daily essentials such as a wallet, phone, keys and a small tablet in the main compartment and organised interior pockets. Close all zippers and secure any flap or hidden closures when in crowded areas to reduce the risk of unauthorised access. For cleaning, follow material care instructions: wipe the PET surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent as needed and let it air dry.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm that the compact dimensions meet your capacity needs for devices and items you carry daily.
• Consider whether the water-repellent finish is sufficient for your local weather or if you need fully waterproof gear.
• Assess whether anti-theft features and a low-profile design align with your security priorities.

Recommendations

For best everyday performance, pack heavier items close to your back, keep valuables in interior pockets, and routinely check zippers and seams for wear. Use the backpack in urban settings where its anti-theft properties and compact size provide the most benefit.
