XLR haakse koppeling ShiverPeaks BS55026 zwart — 3-polige haakse XLR-koppeling

The ShiverPeaks BS55026 Black is a 3-pin angled XLR coupling designed to join two XLR cables or extend balanced audio signal runs while minimizing the required clearance. Its right-angle body reduces strain and saves space behind equipment racks, stage gear, or wall-mounted panels. The coupling provides a standard 3-pin balanced connection compatible with microphones, mixers, amplifiers and other professional audio devices that use XLR cabling.

Advantages

The angled XLR coupling offers a compact profile that helps route cables neatly in tight areas and behind equipment. It maintains the balanced 3-pin signal path to preserve audio integrity between connected devices. The durable construction and secure locking mechanism ensure a stable mechanical and electrical connection during temporary setups and longer-term installations.

Suitable for

• Extending XLR microphone and line-level cable runs in studios and live-sound setups
• Routing cables in tight spaces behind racks, mixers, and wall plates
• Temporary stage patching and quick on-site cable joins
• Connecting balanced audio between mixers, preamps, and audio interfaces

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3-pin balanced XLR coupling, angled (right-angle)
• Gender: XLR female to XLR male coupling configuration for joining two cables
• Finish: black housing to match common professional audio equipment
• Contact material: corrosion-resistant contacts for reliable signal transfer
• Mechanical: locking latch to secure XLR connectors together

How to use

Insert the male XLR pin end of one cable into the female side of the coupling and insert the male end of the second cable into the opposite side, ensuring the latch engages to lock the connection. Use the right-angle orientation to position cables parallel to equipment surfaces and reduce bending stress at connection points. For best results check that contacts are fully seated and that cable strain reliefs are not bearing excessive force.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the coupling only with standard balanced 3-pin XLR cables and avoid forcing incompatible connectors. Periodically inspect contacts for dirt or corrosion and clean with appropriate contact cleaner if needed. When used in permanent installations, provide additional mechanical strain relief to prevent repeated stress on the coupling.
