Zebra CS-CAB-SHV-SS rack-accessoire rack-legbord

The Zebra CS-CAB-SHV-SS is a grey rack shelf designed to provide a stable, accessible surface for mounting and organizing network and IT equipment in server cabinets and racks. Engineered for compatibility with Zebra products and standard 19-inch racks, this single-pack shelf delivers a straightforward solution for placing printers, scanners, small switches, power supplies or other peripheral devices that require a flat support within a cabinet.

Advantages

The shelf offers a sturdy steel construction with a powder-coated grey finish that resists scratches and wear during regular use. It installs quickly into standard rack rails and supports a variety of devices without requiring additional mounting hardware. Its flat design maximizes usable surface area while allowing ventilation and cable routing around installed equipment.

Suitable for

• Mounting Zebra printers, scanners and label applicators inside a rack cabinet
• Supporting small network switches, power supplies or UPS modules
• Organizing peripherals and accessories where a flat, stable surface is required
• Temporary placement of tools and service equipment during maintenance

Key specifications

• Color: grey
• Form factor: rack-mount shelf for 19-inch cabinets
• Material: steel with protective finish
• Finish: powder-coated surface for scratch resistance
• Mounting: compatible with standard rack rails and cabinet mounting points
• Package: single shelf

How to use

Install the shelf by aligning it with the cabinet’s rack rails at the chosen U position and secure it using the cabinet’s recommended fasteners. Place devices centrally on the shelf to maintain balance and ensure proper airflow around heat-generating equipment. Route power and data cables along the rack frame or through cable management accessory channels to prevent strain on connectors. For heavier items, verify that the cabinet and rack rails are rated for the combined load before final placement.

Recommendations

Use the shelf for medium-duty mounting and organization tasks; avoid exceeding the weight capacity of the cabinet rails. Keep vents and cable pathways clear to maintain equipment cooling. For equipment requiring front-panel access or frequent removal, position the shelf at an accessible height and ensure quick-release or easily reachable fasteners are used if supported by the cabinet.
