Zyxel NWA50AX PRO 2400 Mbit/s wit Power over Ethernet (PoE)

Zyxel NWA50AX Pro AX3000 Dual-Radio Multi-gig PoE Access Point is a WiFi 6 access point designed for small businesses, home offices and SoHo environments. It delivers AX3000 speeds and includes a 2.5G Ethernet uplink port, three high-gain antennas and support for PoE installation. The device supports both local management and cloud management via Nebula, and features Smart Mesh technology to extend wireless coverage without additional cabling.

Advantages

The NWA50AX Pro provides faster WiFi 6 performance with a 2.5G uplink to overcome the 1 Gbps bottleneck while using Cat5e cabling. Three high-gain antennas improve 5 GHz signal strength and extend coverage to hard-to-reach areas. The access point supports PoE for flexible placement and can be managed locally or through the Nebula cloud platform. Smart Mesh capability allows wireless links between APs, reducing the need for extra wiring.

Key specifications

• WiFi standard: WiFi 6 (802.11ax), AX3000 performance
• Radio: Dual-radio (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz)
• Ethernet uplink: 2.5G multi-gig port
• Antennas: 3 × high-gain external antennas
• Power: PoE support (Power over Ethernet)
• Management: Local web interface and Nebula cloud (NebulaFlex)
• Deployment feature: Zyxel Smart Mesh for wireless AP interconnection

How to use

Install the NWA50AX Pro in the desired location and connect the uplink to your network using the multi-gig Ethernet port; PoE can supply power when available. Use the local web interface for on-site configuration or onboard the device to the Nebula cloud for centralized management. Optionally enable Smart Mesh to form wireless links between access points for extended coverage without running additional cables.

Recommendations

For best results, connect the 2.5G uplink to a compatible multi-gig switch or router and use Cat5e or better cabling. Place the access point centrally and elevated for optimal 5 GHz coverage, and enable Nebula management or Smart Mesh when deploying multiple APs to simplify administration and extend range.
