2-power 2P-GC4HY - 39,6 cm (15,6 inch) - WXGA

When a cracked or dim laptop display starts to interfere with daily work, this 2-POWER 2P-GC4HY panel steps in as a direct replacement. It fits a wide range of 15.6-inch notebooks that use a standard 40-pin LED connection, bringing back a bright, crisp WXGA picture without the cost of a new machine. The panel is built around a TN (Twisted Nematic) LCD with LED backlighting, so it powers on instantly and draws very little energy—ideal for users who rely on their laptop all day, whether in an office, classroom, or on the road.

Why choose it

This panel is a new, aftermarket replacement that matches or exceeds the original specifications of many mainstream laptops. The 40-pin LED interface is one of the most common connectors for 15.6-inch WXGA screens, which means compatibility is broad. Because it is bracketless, installation is straightforward: simply remove the old panel, transfer any mounting brackets or tape from the original, and connect the cable. The LED backlight delivers consistent brightness and a long service life, while the glossy finish enhances contrast for everyday tasks like web browsing, document editing, and video streaming.

Ideal use cases

• Replacing a cracked, flickering, or dead laptop screen
• Upgrading a dim or yellowed display to a bright, new panel
• Repairing notebooks used by students, office workers, or home users
• Restoring a second-hand laptop for resale or personal use

Good to know

Before ordering, confirm that your laptop requires a 15.6-inch WXGA (1366x768) screen with a 40-pin LED connector and a bottom-left cable orientation. The panel is supplied as a bare LCD module without brackets, bezel, or cable—those parts are reused from the original assembly. Handle the screen by its edges and avoid touching the surface to prevent fingerprints or damage. The TN technology offers fast response times and low power consumption, but viewing angles are narrower than IPS panels; this is normal for the original equipment in many laptops.
