3-weg luidspreker Omnitronic DX-1222

The Omnitronic DX-1222 is a rugged full-range 3-way speaker system designed for disco and rock music. It delivers clear audio across a wide frequency range (30–18000 Hz) with an impedance of 8 Ω, sensitivity of 96 dB and an RMS power rating of 300 W. The compact, scratch-resistant wooden enclosure with black felt covering, tray handles and steel corners makes the DX-1222 suitable for both mobile disco use and fixed installations in party rooms.

Advantages

The speaker combines piezo super-tweeters for pronounced high frequencies, a high-quality horn for smooth mid-range reproduction and an optional sub-bass unit for powerful low end. A strong protective grille and robust construction increase durability for transport and regular stage or club use. Its compact dimensions and transport-friendly handles simplify moving the unit between venues.

How to use

Place the Omnitronic DX-1222 on a stable surface or mount it according to the venue’s rigging options. Connect the speaker to a compatible amplifier or PA system respecting the 8 Ω impedance and observed output limits of the amplifier. Adjust input levels gradually to prevent clipping; use the optional sub-bass only if the system includes the sub module and the amplifier can handle the added load. Secure the speaker for transport using the built-in tray handles and protective corners.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid driving the speaker into sustained clipping, keep the grille and ports free of debris, and use the speaker within its specified frequency and power ranges. When transporting, protect corners and grille to maintain the housing and finish.
