Wedge-monitor Omnitronic KM-115A 250W RMS 2-weg zwart

The Omnitronic KM-115A 250W RMS 2-way Black wedge monitor is a stage monitor speaker engineered for professional live sound reinforcement. Designed as a floor wedge, it combines a 2-way speaker configuration with rated continuous power to provide clear vocal and instrument monitoring. The enclosure in black finish and a compact footprint (600mm × 370mm × 540mm) supports placement on stage where performers need directional on-stage sound.

Advantages

The monitor offers a two-way acoustic design that separates low and high frequencies for improved clarity and reduced distortion at stage volumes. With a 250W RMS power rating and high peak capability, it handles dynamic program material with headroom for transient peaks. Its sensitivity and design produce focused sound projection toward the performer, while the robust cabinet construction supports regular stage handling and positioning.

How to use

Place the KM-115A on the stage floor angled toward the performer so the driver axes align with the performer’s ears. Connect the monitor to an amplifier or powered mixer output appropriate for its nominal power rating, and set gain levels gradually to avoid sudden high SPLs. Use EQ and level controls from the mixing console to tailor the monitor mix for clear vocals and instrument balance while avoiding feedback by adjusting position and equalization as needed.

Recommendations

For stable stage performance, protect the monitor from prolonged exposure to moisture and heavy impact. When using multiple monitors, configure individual mixes and apply notch filters to troublesome feedback frequencies. Transport and store the unit in a padded case for longer service life.
