3M tape 389O50, 50 m x 50 mm, groen, drukgevoelige lijm

3M Tape 389O50 is a green pressure-sensitive adhesive tape measuring 50 metres long and 50 millimetres wide. Intended for masking, bundling and general-purpose holding, the tape provides consistent tack and easy unwind for manual or machine application. The visible green color aids temporary identification and area marking in industrial, workshop and maintenance environments, while the roll format supports straightforward storage and dispensing.

Advantages

The tape combines reliable adhesion with clean removal from many surfaces when used within recommended timeframes, reducing residue and rework. Its pressure-sensitive adhesive permits immediate bonding without primers or heat. The medium-width roll balances coverage and flexibility for curved or flat surfaces, and the product is compatible with common hand dispensers and tape guns for efficient application.

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, oil or loose particles before applying the tape. Cut or tear tape to the required length, press firmly to establish contact and smooth along the surface to eliminate air pockets. For curved or irregular surfaces, apply in short overlapping segments for better conformity. To remove, lift an edge and peel back slowly at a low angle; removal performance depends on substrate and dwell time.

Recommendations

Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For best results, use the tape within the manufacturer’s recommended storage period, test adhesion on a small area prior to extended use, and avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures or solvents that may affect adhesive performance.
