Weefselplakband Tesa GEWEBEBAND 2,75 cm x 38 m, geel, model 56343-37-3

Tesa GEWEBEBAND is a cloth adhesive tape 2.75 cm wide and 38 m long in yellow, designed for general-purpose bonding, sealing and reinforcement tasks. The tape combines a fabric carrier with a strong adhesive that adheres reliably to many surfaces and offers flexible handling for repairs, packaging, marking and temporary fixes where a durable cloth tape is required.

Advantages

The fabric construction provides tear resistance and conforms to uneven surfaces while remaining flexible. The adhesive offers reliable initial tack and long-lasting hold on paper, cardboard, plastics and many painted or untreated surfaces. The narrow width allows precise application, and the bright yellow colour improves visibility for marking and hazard identification. The roll format with 38 m length reduces the need for frequent replacements during medium to large jobs.

Suitable for

• Light repair and reinforcement of torn materials
• Sealing and bundling of lightweight packages
• Temporary fixes in workshops, construction sites or home use
• Marking areas, cables or equipment for visibility

Key specifications

• Width: 2.75 cm
• Length: 38 m
• Carrier: woven fabric (cloth)
• Colour: yellow
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive for general-purpose bonding
• Properties: tear-resistant, flexible, good conformability to irregular surfaces

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease or loose particles before application. Cut or tear the required length of Tesa GEWEBEBAND and press the adhesive side firmly onto the substrate, smoothing from the centre outwards to remove air pockets. For stronger hold, apply firm pressure along the tape and allow adhesive to build bond over time. When removing, peel slowly back at a low angle to minimise residue; adhesion strength and residue depend on the surface and dwell time.

Recommendations

Use the tape at moderate temperatures and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture for optimal performance. For long-term outdoor use or on sensitive painted surfaces, test a small area first to check for compatibility and potential residue. Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive properties.
