Aansluiteenheid RJ-45 MetzConnect 1309310301-E zwart wit categorie 6e

The E-DAT subway 3 port GB3 pearl white termination unit is designed for installation in underfloor service outlets and provides three RJ‑45 ports in a GB3 design with E‑DAT modules. It is compatible with underfloor outlets from OBO Bettermann (Ackermann) and certain Hager (Electraplan Solutions) types. The unit is supplied with module frame, caps and dummy covers, features a 45° upward module plug direction, and includes a label window for identification labels. Device casing is black with pearl white covers.

Advantages

The termination unit is component‑tested and certified for Category 6A performance to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2 and related standards, supporting links up to 500 MHz and 10 Gbit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3an). It allows easy connection of 2‑ to 4‑pair solid conductors (AWG 26/1–22/1) and stranded conductors (AWG 26/7–22/7) using BTR 8‑way insulation displacement connectors (IDC), and provides conductor assignment marking for T568A or T568B. Integrated dust protection covers and included identification label window simplify installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Underfloor networking installations with OBO Bettermann and compatible Hager outlets
• 10 GBit Ethernet / high‑speed data links up to 500 MHz
• Power over Ethernet deployments (PoE, PoE+, UPoE)
• Audio/video distribution systems such as HDBaseT

How to use

Mount the termination unit into the compatible underfloor service outlet according to the outlet manufacturer's instructions. Strip and prepare the data cables, then connect each 2‑ to 4‑pair cable to the BTR 8‑way IDC following the T568A or T568B conductor assignment marked on the module. Fit the module into the frame with the plug oriented 45° upwards, attach the caps or dummy covers as required, and insert identification labels into the label window. Ensure all connections are checked and tested for continuity and performance after installation.

Recommendations

For guaranteed compatibility and full performance, install this GB3 E‑DAT unit only in supported underfloor outlets (OBO Bettermann or compatible Hager types) and use appropriate Category 6A cabling. Verify conductor assignment (T568A/T568B) before terminating and perform link testing up to 500 MHz to confirm 10 GBit Ethernet readiness.
