ACT 100 meter HDMI Premium 4K actieve optische kabel v2.0 HDMI-A stekker - HDMI-A stekker

The ACT HDMI Cable 100 meters Premium 4K Active Optical v2.0 is an HDMI Type A to Type A active optical cable designed for reliable long-distance video and audio transmission. Combining copper-plated contacts with an optical fiber core and Kevlar mechanical protection, this cable supports 4K@60Hz (2160p) and offers a data bandwidth of up to 18 Gbit/s. The cable is ultra-slim (4.8 mm diameter), supplied on a spool and intended for installations where signal integrity must be maintained over distances up to 100 m.

Advantages

The active optical design prevents data loss over long runs while keeping the cable flexible and easy to route. Copper-plated contacts and aluminium-foiled shielding improve contact durability and reduce electromagnetic interference. Kevlar reinforcement provides mechanical strength and durability for repeated installs. Support for ARC, CEC, EDID and HDCP 2.2 ensures compatibility with modern AV sources and displays.

How to use

Unwind the cable from the supplied spool and route it along the desired path, avoiding tight bends that exceed the cable's minimum bend radius. Connect the HDMI Type A male connectors to the HDMI output of the source device and to the HDMI input of the display or receiver. Ensure connectors are fully seated. Power for the active components is provided through the HDMI link, so no separate power supply is required. After connection, verify display settings to enable 4K@60Hz and any relevant modes such as ARC or CEC.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage mains or strong RF sources. Use cable supports for long horizontal runs to prevent mechanical strain. Check device compatibility for HDCP 2.2 and EDID handshake when connecting diverse equipment. If routing through conduits, confirm the conduit diameter accommodates the 4.8 mm cable and the spool simplifies installation in larger installations.
