ACT 20 meter HDMI Premium 8K actieve optische kabel v2.1 HDMI-A stekker - HDMI-A stekker

The ACT 20 meters Premium 8K Active Optical Cable v2.1 is a black HDMI Type A to Type A cable designed for long-distance high-bandwidth video and audio transmission. Combining copper conductors with optical fiber, this active hybrid cable preserves signal integrity over extended runs while supporting the HDMI 2.1 feature set. The cable supports data transfer rates up to 48 Gbit/s and resolutions up to 4320p@60Hz (7680x4320), making it suitable for 8K video sources and displays where a reliable connection across 20 meters is required.

Advantages

The active optical construction reduces signal attenuation over long distances compared with passive copper-only cables, ensuring stable transmission at high bandwidths. Supplied on a coil and built with flexible materials, the cable is easy to route and install in AV racks, behind displays, or through conduit. Standard HDMI Type A male connectors on both ends provide broad compatibility with TVs, projectors, monitors, AV receivers and media players that accept HDMI Type A.

Suitable for

• Connecting 8K-capable sources to displays across a 20 m run
• Long-distance HDMI links in living rooms, conference rooms and home theaters
• Professional AV installations requiring high data rates and low signal loss
• Setups that need standard HDMI Type A connectivity on both ends

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 m
• Connector type: HDMI Type A male — both ends
• Maximum data rate: up to 48 Gbit/s
• Maximum supported resolution: 4320p @ 60Hz (7680 x 4320)
• Cable construction: hybrid copper and optical fiber (active optical cable)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male connector to the HDMI output of your source device (such as a player, media streamer, or graphics output) and the other HDMI Type A male connector to the HDMI input of your display or AV receiver. Ensure both devices are powered and set to the appropriate input/output settings. The cable is active and does not require an external power supply; it will negotiate link parameters automatically according to the connected devices and HDMI version capabilities.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends or sharp kinks in the cable and allow some slack at connector ends to reduce stress. When installing through walls or conduit, verify the installation path accommodates the 20 m length and coil packaging. Use compatible 8K-capable source and display hardware and enable the appropriate HDMI modes (such as 8K@60Hz) in device settings to achieve the highest supported resolution and bandwidth.
