ACT AK3736 videokabel-adapter 3 m HDMI type A (Standard) DVI-D zwart

The ACT AK3736 video cable adapter is a 3 m HDMI Type A to DVI‑D cable designed for digital video signal transmission between HDMI and DVI devices. Its single‑piece construction and 3 metre length make it suitable for connecting monitors, graphics cards, set‑top boxes and other display sources where HDMI-to-DVI connectivity is required. The cable is black, with full copper 30 AWG conductors and gold‑plated connectors to support reliable signal transfer.

Advantages

This bidirectional cable supports conversion from HDMI to DVI‑D and from DVI‑D to HDMI, allowing flexible use with a range of devices. It supports up to 4K (3840×2160) at 60 Hz for high‑resolution displays. The use of full copper conductors and gold‑plated contacts improves conductivity and corrosion resistance for stable, long‑term performance.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This cable carries digital video only; it does not transmit audio. If you need audio alongside video, a different solution (such as a separate audio cable or an adapter that supports audio) is required. It also provides a single‑link DVI‑D connection and therefore does not support features that require dual‑link DVI.

Key specifications

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI output of your source device and the DVI‑D male end to the DVI‑D input of the display. Ensure both devices are powered on and set to the appropriate input. Configure the output device’s display settings to the desired resolution, up to 4K@60Hz. Because the cable does not carry audio, route audio separately if needed.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

For best results, use with devices that support up to 4K@60Hz and keep cable runs away from strong electromagnetic interference. Verify display settings on the source device and use a separate audio connection where required.
