ACT AK3873 HDMI-kabel 2 m HDMI type A (standaard) zwart

The ACT AK3873 HDMI cable is a 2 m Premium High Speed HDMI v2.0 lead with standard HDMI Type A male connectors at both ends. It supports 4K resolution at 60 Hz, HDR video, multi-channel audio formats and an 18 Gbit/s bandwidth for reliable transmission of high-definition audio and video. The cable uses full copper conductors and gold-plated contacts and is fitted with a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacket for reduced toxic gas emissions in case of fire. Additional thin plate shielding lowers EMI/RFI, making the cable suitable for environments with sensitive electronics.

Advantages

The cable delivers 3840x2160 @ 60Hz with support for HDR, HDCP 2.2, EDID, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio while providing an 18 Gbit/s data rate. Full copper conductors and gold-plated contacts ensure stable signal transfer and corrosion resistance. The LSZH outer jacket reduces smoke and halogen emissions in hazardous situations, and the extra thin plate shielding reduces electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This 2 m fixed-length cable is not appropriate where longer runs are needed; in those cases a longer HDMI cable or signal extender should be used. It is a standard HDMI Type A to Type A cable and therefore not suitable for devices with mini or micro HDMI ports without an adapter.

Key specifications

How to use

Connect one HDMI Type A male end to the HDMI output of the source device (for example Blu-ray player, PC, game console or set-top box) and the other end to the HDMI input of the display device (TV, monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display input to the corresponding HDMI port. For full 4K@60Hz and HDR performance check that connected devices and HDMI ports support HDMI 2.0 features and that HDR is enabled in device settings.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

The ACT AK3873 is best used for short to medium runs where 4K@60Hz and low interference are required; avoid excessive bending near the connectors and confirm device compatibility for HDR and HDCP 2.2 to achieve full performance.
