ACT blauw 2 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter slimline patchkabel met vergrendelingsbescherming en RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Blue 2 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter slimline patch cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in datacenter and professional networking environments. Its 3.8 mm slimline diameter and U/FTP shielding reduce space usage and interference, while snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts ensure reliable connections and good conductivity. The LSZH jacket minimizes hazardous smoke in case of fire and the cable is suitable for tight cabinet routing to improve airflow.

Advantages

The slimline construction (3.8 mm) takes up less space than regular CAT6A patch cords, allowing for a smaller bending radius and improved airflow in server cabinets. U/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the clip during installation. Gold-plated contacts provide stable signal transfer. LSZH jacket lowers toxic smoke and fumes compared with standard jackets.

Suitable for

• Datacenter top-of-rack and horizontal patching
• Tight cable routing in network cabinets and racks
• High-speed 10GBASE-T links where space and airflow are critical
• Environments requiring low-smoke zero-halogen jackets

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network device and the other end to the switch, patch panel or server port. Route the slimline cable through the rack or cabinet ensuring gentle bends that respect the reduced bending radius. For permanent link planning, account for the higher attenuation of 32 AWG conductors by keeping patch cord and permanent link lengths within recommended distances for CAT6A systems.

Recommendations

For PoE deployments, limit bundled cables to a maximum of 24 to prevent excessive temperature rise; ANSI TSB-184-A recommends the center cable temperature increase remain less than 15 °C above ambient. Use shorter permanent link lengths compared with standard 24 AWG patch cords to accommodate the higher attenuation of 32 AWG slimline cables.
