ACT blauw 7m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter slimline patchkabel met rastnasenbescherming en RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Blue 7m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A Patch Cable Snagless RJ45 is a slimline Cat6A U/FTP patch cord with a 7 metre length, LSZH jacket and snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts. Its reduced diameter (3.8 mm) and lower bending radius compared with regular Cat6A cords improve airflow in server racks and network cabinets while supporting high-speed data transmission in datacenter and office environments.

Advantages

The slimline U/FTP construction offers a smaller diameter and tighter bend performance versus standard Cat6A patch cords, which helps conserve space and improves airflow. The LSZH jacket minimises smoke emission for safer indoor use. Snagless RJ45 plugs protect the connector latch during installation, and gold-plated contacts provide reliable signal conductivity.

How to use

Plug the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your network devices (switch, server, patch panel). Ensure the cable is routed to avoid sharp bends beyond the specified bending radius and avoid mechanical strain on the connectors. For patching multiple ports in high-density racks, route cables to maintain airflow and accessibility.

Recommendations

Standards typically specify 22–26 AWG for patch cords; while 32 AWG slimline cables are usable, they exhibit higher attenuation at higher frequencies. For Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, limit bundles to a maximum of 24 cables to avoid excessive temperature rise; ANSI TSB-184-A recommends that the center cable temperature increase stays below 15 °C above ambient.
