ACT Cat 6A U/UTP vaste installatiekabel, PVC Eca 23AWG grijs 305 meter

The ACT Cat 6A U/UTP solid installation cable PVC Eca 23AWG grey 305m is a 305-metre, 23 AWG copper cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured networks. It uses an unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) design with a PVC outer jacket in grey and meets CPR Euroclass Eca for fire safety. The cable is intended for permanent installation in residential and commercial buildings and does not include connectors.

Advantages

This Cat 6A cable supports higher bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower-category cables, enabling reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over shorter runs. The solid 23 AWG conductors provide stable performance for fixed installations. The grey PVC jacket offers mechanical protection and flexibility for routing in conduits, trunking, or wall cavities. Compliance with CPR Euroclass Eca ensures it meets common fire safety classification requirements for building installations.

How to use

Route the cable through conduits, trunking, or wall cavities to the desired endpoints. Cut and strip the outer jacket and pairs following standard termination procedures for solid 23 AWG conductors, and terminate on appropriate keystone jacks, patch panels, or outlet boxes. Test each run with a certified cable tester after termination to verify continuity, pair mapping, and performance up to Cat 6A specifications.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling tension during installation, maintain separation from strong electrical interference sources, and use proper termination tools and components rated for Cat 6A. Follow local building and fire codes when installing cables in plenum or riser spaces.
