How to use

Route the cable through the rack or cabinet keeping bend radius moderate to avoid sharp folds; the slimline cable permits tighter routing than standard Cat6 cords. If used in bundles for Power over Ethernet (PoE), follow the recommended bundle limits to control temperature rise.

Recommendations

For PoE deployments, limit bundles to a maximum of 24 cables as advised by ACT to keep temperature increase of the centre cable within the limits defined by ANSI TSB-184-A (less than 15 °C above ambient). Avoid excessive bending or kinking and maintain tidy routing to preserve performance and airflow.
