ACT ivoor 0,25 m U/UTP CAT6 patchkabel, rastongbescherming, met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Ivory 0.25m U/UTP CAT6 patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors provides a short, reliable link for high-speed Ethernet connections. Designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks, this compact 0.25 m cable reduces clutter in dense cabling environments and offers gold-plated contacts for consistent signal transfer. The ivory-coloured sheath blends unobtrusively into light interiors while maintaining the electrical characteristics required for CAT6 performance.

Advantages

The snagless design protects the connector clip during installation and removal, reducing the chance of damage in tight spaces. Gold-plated contacts enhance corrosion resistance and maintain low contact resistance for stable data transmission. The short 0.25 m length minimizes cable slack, improving airflow and organization behind networking equipment or between closely spaced devices. Suitable quality construction ensures compatibility with standard RJ45 ports and supports gigabit Ethernet speeds.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and routers in rack-mounted or confined spaces
• Linking networked devices on a desk or in multimedia cabinets where space is limited
• Temporary or permanent short-distance connections in office or home networks

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) (CAT6)
• Shielding: Unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP)
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Ivory

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until the clip clicks into place. For best results, route the 0.25 m cable so it does not bend sharply near the connector and avoid tight kinks that could affect signal integrity. To remove, depress the snagless clip and gently withdraw the connector. Use the cable for direct device-to-device connections where a short, tidy link is required.

Recommendations

Use this short CAT6 patch cable for installations where minimal cable length is desired to reduce clutter and improve airflow. Avoid stretching or repeatedly bending the cable at sharp angles; keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources to reduce potential interference.
