ACT ivoor 2 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patchkabel snagless met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Ivory 2 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a 2 m network cable with snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts designed for high-speed data transmission. The cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket to limit the release of toxic and corrosive gases in case of fire, making it suitable for installations in confined or poorly ventilated spaces.

Advantages

The LSZH jacket decreases the risk of high concentrations of toxic gases during combustion compared with halogenated compounds. S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against external interference and crosstalk, while gold-plated RJ45 contacts ensure reliable electrical contact and signal integrity. The snagless connector design reduces the chance of latch damage during installation and removal.

Suitable for

• Home and small office network connections
• Structured cabling in data centers and server rooms
• Installations in confined or poorly ventilated environments such as trains, aircraft interiors, or vehicles

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end of the patch cable to the network port of your device (computer, switch, router or patch panel) and the other end to the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; observe bend radius recommendations of the connected equipment when installing in racks or cable management systems.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this CAT6A S/FTP LSZH cable for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over short to medium distances. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures to preserve the jacket and connector integrity.
