ACT Ivoor 7 meter SF/UTP CAT5E patchkabel zonder rastangbescherming met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Ivory 7 meter SF/UTP CAT5E patch cable is a single cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections over a 7 m reach. It features snagless RJ-45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. The cable supports CAT5E performance for typical high-speed data transmission in home and office networks and is finished in an ivory color for discreet installation.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP shielding (overall foil with individually shielded pairs) minimizes crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or nearby electrical equipment. Snagless RJ-45 connectors protect the connector clip during installation and removal, reducing the risk of connector damage. A 7 meter length offers flexibility for connecting devices that are not directly adjacent to network equipment while maintaining CAT5E performance for Ethernet, VoIP and basic multimedia streaming.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, switches and routers within a home or small office
• Network points in wiring closets where a medium cable length is needed
• VoIP phones and IP cameras requiring stable wired links
• Temporary or permanent patch connections in small server racks

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT5E
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 7 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless design
• Color: Ivory

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network device (switch, router or wall outlet) and the other end to the client device (PC, IP camera or VoIP phone). Ensure connectors are fully seated until the clip clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For installations in cable bundles, maintain appropriate bend radius and do not tightly compress the cable to preserve shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

Use this CAT5E SF/UTP cable for typical Ethernet links up to 7 m where improved shielding is desired. Avoid routing the cable alongside high-voltage power lines and maintain gentle curves to preserve signal quality. For links longer than 7 m or for higher bandwidth needs, consider higher-category cabling (e.g., CAT6) and follow local cabling standards for permanent installations.
