ACT Ivory 25 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Ivory 25 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patch cable (model IB3625) provides shielded S/FTP construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends for reliable high-speed data transmission. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces the release of toxic gases and smoke in the event of fire, making the cable suitable for indoor and poorly ventilated environments. This CAT6A cable supports increased bandwidth for demanding network applications while offering safer material properties compared with PVC jackets.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding (overall braid plus individually foil-shielded pairs) minimizes electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity for high-speed links. The LSZH jacket lowers smoke density and halogen emissions during combustion, reducing health and equipment risks in confined spaces. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network equipment and straightforward installation.

Suitable for

• Office and data center horizontal and backbone cabling
• Airplanes, trains, and other poorly ventilated or enclosed environments
• High-speed Ethernet links up to CAT6A performance levels
• Environments where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required

How to use

Route the CAT6A patch cable between network ports, ensuring connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 sockets until they click. Avoid tight bending radii and heavy mechanical stress to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. Use cable management accessories such as trays or ties to organize runs and reduce strain on terminations. For optimal performance, keep cable length within recommended limits for horizontal patching in structured cabling systems.

Recommendations

Use this LSZH S/FTP CAT6A cable in indoor and enclosed installations where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are important. Do not expose the cable to outdoor weather or prolonged UV exposure. Inspect connectors before installation and replace any cable showing visible damage to the jacket or shielding.
