ACT lila 10,00 meter SFTP CAT6A patchkabel rastnasvrij met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Purple 10.00 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a shielded network cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections over a 10 m distance. It features snagless RJ45 connectors on both ends for secure plug-in and reduced risk of tab damage. The S/FTP shielding construction protects against electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, while gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and resist corrosion. The cable's purple color helps with visual identification in structured cabling environments.

Advantages

The SFTP CAT6A design supports wideband data transmission with reduced crosstalk and external interference. Snagless RJ45 connectors provide reliable termination and easier installation in tight spaces. Gold-plated contacts ensure stable electrical contact and longer life compared with unplated alternatives. The 10 meter length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or within racks without intermediate joins.

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end of the cable to a network switch, router or patch panel port and the other end to the target device such as a computer, access point or network appliance. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension, or crushing, and keep it separate from high-voltage power lines where possible to maintain shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the ACT SFTP CAT6A patch cable in installations that require reduced interference and reliable 10 Gigabit connectivity. Avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius and avoid exposing it to mechanical stress or moisture. When deploying multiple cables, use consistent color-coding to simplify identification and maintenance.
