ACT oranje 0.5 m U/UTP CAT6 patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers, knikbescherming

The ACT Orange 0.5m U/UTP CAT6 patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is a short, flexible network cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in compact setups. With a half-meter length and gold-plated contacts, this CAT6 cable supports standard Ethernet connections while minimizing signal loss and contact corrosion. The snagless design protects the connector clip from accidental damage when routing the cable through narrow spaces or patch panels.

Advantages

This CAT6 U/UTP patch cable combines a compact 0.5 m length with gold-plated contacts to maintain stable signal integrity and resist oxidation. The snagless RJ45 boots reduce the risk of latch breakage, improving connector longevity in repeated insertions and removals. The cable's flexibility makes it easy to route in confined areas behind network switches, routers, or in patch panels without compromising performance.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices in server rooms, office desks, or home networking racks where short cable runs are required
• Patch panels and switch-to-switch short links in dense cabling environments
• Situations that require reliable CAT6 performance in limited spaces such as behind cabinets or network appliances

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6 (U/UTP)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connector type: RJ45 snagless boots
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper
• Application: Ethernet networking, data transmission

How to use

Insert the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on devices such as switches, routers, computers or patch panels until the latch clicks into place. Use the cable for short interconnects where a 0.5 m length prevents excess cable clutter. To disconnect, depress the snagless boot area to release the latch while pulling the connector straight out to avoid damaging the plug or port.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid sharp bends and excessive strain on the cable near the connectors. Use this 0.5 m CAT6 patch cable for short, high-density connections and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources to maintain optimal signal quality.
