ACT oranje 25,00 meter SFTP CAT6A-patchkabel rastnasvrij met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Orange 25.00 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a shielded network cable designed for high-speed ethernet connections over longer runs. With snagless RJ45 connectors and S/FTP shielding, the cable reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference while maintaining a stable signal across 25 meters. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and resist corrosion, and the orange jacket makes cable identification straightforward in patch panels and cabling bundles.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each pair plus an overall foil/shield arrangement provides enhanced protection against EMI and near-end crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives. Snagless RJ45 plugs protect the connector latch during installation and removal, and gold-plated contacts offer consistent electrical contact and increased durability. The CAT6A specification supports higher bandwidths and better performance for modern network demands across the 25 m length.

How to use

Fully insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable avoiding tight bends, kinks, and proximity to high-power electrical lines to preserve shielding effectiveness and signal integrity. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate ties or cable management hardware without compressing the jacket or shielding layers. Test the connection after installation with appropriate network testing tools to confirm link speed and integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain bend radii recommended for CAT6A cables and avoid running the cable in direct parallel with high-voltage power lines. Use the orange colour to segregate critical or high-speed links in patch panels, and consider testing after installation to verify 10 Gigabit-capable links where required.
