ACT oranje 7,00 meter SFTP CAT6A patchkabel, rastnasvrij, met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Orange 7.00 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable provides shielded, high-bandwidth connectivity for wired networks. Constructed with S/FTP (overall shield plus individually foil‑shielded pairs) this CAT6A cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for stable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and a snagless boot reduce contact corrosion and protect the connector latch during installation. The 7.00 m length offers flexible placement between switches, patch panels, and networked devices while maintaining consistent signal integrity.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding topology enhances immunity to external interference and improves pair-to-pair isolation, which supports higher data rates and longer reliable runs in environments with multiple cables or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable mating and lower contact resistance. The snagless design prevents the clip from catching on patch panels or trays during routing and reconfiguration, extending the connector life. The bright orange jacket aids cable identification in structured cabling racks and improves visual management.

How to use

Route the ACT SFTP CAT6A patch cable between the network devices to be connected, ensuring the connectors fully seat into the RJ-45 ports until the latch clicks. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable to maintain shielding effectiveness and minimize signal degradation. For best performance, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines and large electrical motors where possible. When dressing multiple cables, use cable ties or Velcro straps without over-compressing the jacket to preserve the cable geometry.

Recommendations

Use this CAT6A S/FTP patch cable for applications requiring consistent high-speed performance and improved EMI protection. Periodically inspect connectors and cable jackets for wear; replace cables that show visible damage or compromised shielding. For permanent horizontal runs or in-wall installations, choose the appropriate in-wall rated cable according to local building codes rather than a patch cable.
