ACT oranje 7 meter U/UTP CAT5E-patchkabel met RJ45-aansluitingen

The ACT Orange 7 meter U/UTP CAT5E RJ45 patch cable is a 7 m network cable designed for Ethernet connections and data transfer. It uses AWG#24 conductors, a PVC sheath and supports up to 100 MHz bandwidth. The bright orange RAL 2000 jacket improves cable visibility in patch panels and server rooms while the gold‑plated RJ45 contacts ensure reliable signal transmission.

Advantages

This CAT5E U/UTP cable provides stable network performance up to 100 MHz and is compatible with standard RJ45 ports. The 7 m length offers flexible placement between devices, and the PVC sheath delivers basic mechanical protection. The orange colour makes cable tracing and identification easier in multi‑cable installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in offices
• Linking computers and networked peripherals
• Temporary or permanent workstation cabling where visibility is needed

Key specifications

• Category: CAT5E U/UTP
• Length: 7 m
• Bandwidth: 100 MHz
• Conductors: AWG#24
• Sheath material: PVC
• Colour: Orange (RAL 2000)
• Connector: RJ45 with gold‑plated contacts

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to your network device (switch, router or computer) and the other plug to the port on the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; secure with cable ties or management accessories if required.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable alongside high‑voltage power lines and keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s recommended minimum. Use this CAT5E cable for standard Ethernet up to 100 Mbps or in networks where CAT5E performance is sufficient.
