ACT Paars 20m LSZH SFTP CAT6A patchkabel, rastnasenfrei met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Purple 20m LSZH SFTP CAT6A Patch Cable (FB8720) is a 20 metre network cable with snagless RJ45 connectors, S/FTP shielding and a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket. It is designed for high-speed data transmission in environments where reduced smoke and halogen emission are required. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance, while the purple colour makes cable identification simple.

Advantages

The LSZH jacket reduces the risk of toxic gas release in case of fire, making the cable suitable for poorly ventilated spaces. S/FTP shielding provides protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and snagless RJ45 connectors lower the chance of connector damage during installation. Gold-plated contacts offer reliable signal transfer and long-term durability.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections up to CAT6A requirements
• Wiring in enclosed or poorly ventilated environments (trains, aircraft interiors, vehicles, server rooms)
• Office and data centre horizontal cabling where LSZH compliance is desired
• Temporary or permanent patching between network equipment

How to use

Connect one RJ45 connector to a network device (switch, router, NIC) and the other to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. For best performance, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling; maintain recommended bend radius for CAT6A cables. Use appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Install in locations where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required; keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources where possible, and verify that both connected devices support CAT6A speeds for optimal throughput.
