ACT rood 1,5 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6-patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Red 1.5m LSZH U/UTP CAT6 patch cable provides a 1.5 meter connection with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for reliable high-speed data transmission. Constructed with AWG#24 conductors and CAT6 U/UTP specification, the cable is suitable for typical networking tasks in home and office environments. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath reduces smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire, and the red Pantone 201C colour helps with visual identification and cable management.

Advantages

The cable features 50 µ gold-plated contacts for improved contact reliability and corrosion resistance. Its U/UTP CAT6 design supports higher bandwidths compared with earlier categories while maintaining typical CAT6 performance. The LSZH sheath increases safety in enclosed spaces by emitting less smoke and no halogenated gases when exposed to fire. The 1.5 m length fits common patching and device-to-switch connections, and the red colour aids quick identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers within offices or homes
• Patch panel to network device connections in data cabinets
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, VoIP and file transfers

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP CAT6
• Length: 1.5 m
• Conductors: AWG#24
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Contacts: 50 µ gold plated
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Colour: Red (Pantone 201C)

How to use

Ensure both devices are powered off or that network activity can tolerate a brief reconnection. Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the network ports of the devices you wish to link (for example, PC to switch or patch panel to switch). Verify the network link indicator LEDs on connected devices to confirm a successful connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and minimize interference from power cables.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid exposing the cable to excessive mechanical stress, extreme temperatures or prolonged UV radiation. Use the red colour to mark specific connections or VLANs in patch panels and maintain bend radius recommendations consistent with CAT6 standards.
