ACT rood 1 meter LSZH S/FTP CAT6A patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Red 1 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patch cable (model IB5001) is a 1 m network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP shielding designed for Cat6a performance. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket reduces the release of toxic and corrosive gases in case of fire, making the cable suitable for installations in confined or poorly ventilated spaces. The cable is red in colour for easy identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Advantages

LSZH jacketing minimizes smoke and halogen emissions during combustion, improving safety in enclosed environments. S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting reliable high-speed data transmission at Cat6a specifications. The cable’s RJ-45 connectors offer straightforward plug-and-play connectivity for standard network equipment.

Suitable for

• Data centres and server racks
• Office networks and structured cabling
• Enclosed public transport and vehicle installations (where low smoke emissions are required)
• Patch panels and switch-to-device connections

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to a network switch, router or patch panel and the other connector to the target device or port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click and that cables are routed without excessive bending or sharp kinks. Use appropriate cable management in racks and conduits to maintain performance and reduce mechanical strain on the cable and connectors.

Recommendations

Use this LSZH S/FTP Cat6A patch cable in installations where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are desired; avoid tight bundling with power cables and keep bend radius within manufacturer guidelines to preserve signal integrity.
