ACT Rood 20 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patchkabel snagless met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Red 20 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patch cable snagless with RJ45 connectors is a 20 m network cable designed for high-speed data transmission in environments where low smoke and zero halogen materials are required. The cable features SFTP shielding for reduced interference, a snagless jacket to protect the connector latch during installation, and gold-plated RJ45 connectors for reliable contact. The red LSZH jacket reduces the release of toxic gases and dense smoke if the cable is exposed to fire or severe electrical faults, making it suitable for confined or poorly ventilated spaces.

Advantages

The LSZH jacket lowers the risk of harmful fumes and thick smoke in case of fire, while SFTP shielding improves signal integrity by protecting against electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. The snagless design prevents damage to the connector clip during routing and installation, and gold-plated contacts provide stable connectivity and corrosion resistance. At 20 meters length, the cable offers extended reach for network connections without the need for additional patch points.

Suitable for

• Server rooms and rack-to-workstation connections
• Office networks and structured cabling runs
• Confined or poorly ventilated spaces (e.g., inside vehicles, trains, aircraft cabins)
• Environments where reduced smoke and halogen-free materials are required

How to use

Route the ACT Red 20 m LSZH SFTP CAT6A patch cable between network devices, ensuring both RJ45 connectors are fully inserted into the device ports until the connector latch engages. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling force; maintain the cable bend radius recommended for Cat6A cables to preserve performance. For wall-mounted or rack installations, secure the cable with appropriate cable management accessories, keeping shielding continuity intact at termination points.

Recommendations

Use this LSZH CAT6A SFTP patch cable in installations where fire safety and reduced smoke emissions are important. Do not expose the cable to prolonged temperatures outside the manufacturer’s specified operating range, and avoid running next to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. For best performance, terminate and test the cable following Cat6A standards.
