ACT rood 3 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter slimline patchkabel zonder vergrendeling met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Red 3 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A patch cable is a slimline datacenter Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in space-constrained installations. With a 3.8 mm diameter and U/FTP shielding, the cable reduces crosstalk and electromagnetic interference while its LSZH jacket limits toxic fumes in case of fire. Snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts provide reliable mating and signal transfer for network equipment.

Advantages

The slimline 3.8 mm construction provides a smaller bending radius and improved airflow in network cabinets compared with regular 5.9 mm CAT6A patch cords. U/FTP shielding minimizes external interference, and the LSZH jacket increases safety in enclosed environments. Snagless RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts ensure consistent connectivity and corrosion resistance.

Suitable for

• Datacenter patching and high-density rack environments
• Short permanent link and patching within cabinets and trunking
• PoE-enabled deployments with limited bundle sizes

Key specifications

• Category: CAT6A U/FTP
• Length: 3 m
• Diameter (slimline): approx. 3.8 mm
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket: LSZH
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall unshielded with individually screened pairs)
• Brand / MPN / EAN: ACT / DC7503 / 8716065442083

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to the network device and the other end to the switch, patch panel or outlet. Route the cable through racks and cable management channels, observing the reduced bending radius of the slimline cable to avoid sharp bends. Ensure proper seating of the snagless connector clips when inserting and removing from ports.

Recommendations

For PoE applications, limit cable bundling to a maximum of 24 slimline CAT6A cables to prevent excessive temperature rise. Because the slimline cable uses thinner conductors (up to 32 AWG compared with typical 24 AWG), higher attenuation can occur at higher frequencies; ACT therefore advises shorter permanent link lengths than those used with standard 24 AWG patch cords to maintain channel performance.
