ACT Roze 0,5 m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter slimline-patchkabel snagless met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Pink 0.5m LSZH U/FTP CAT6A Patch Cable Snagless RJ45 is a slimline data center patch cord with a 0.5 m length and LSZH jacket. Its U/FTP shielding and snagless RJ45 connectors provide reliable high-speed connectivity while the reduced 3.8 mm diameter improves cable routing and airflow inside server racks and network cabinets compared with regular CAT6A patch cords.

Advantages

The slim 3.8 mm construction reduces bend radius and saves space in dense installations, contributing to improved airflow. U/FTP shielding offers protection against interference for stable performance. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire, and snagless RJ45 boots protect connectors during handling and patching.

Suitable for

• Data centers and network cabinets with high-density cabling
• Short patch runs between switches, servers and patch panels
• Environments requiring LSZH jacket materials

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/FTP CAT6A slimline
• Length: 0.5 m
• Diameter: 3.8 mm (slimline)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, snagless
• Jacket material: LSZH

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to a switch, patch panel or network device and the other end to the corresponding port. Use the cable for short patching runs in racks and cabinets; avoid sharp bends and maintain a bend radius appropriate for slim cables. Install neatly to preserve airflow and shielding performance.

Recommendations

ACT advises a maximum bundle size of 24 slimline cables in PoE applications to limit temperature increase. While standards typically specify 22–26 AWG patch cords, 32 AWG slimline cables can be used but will exhibit higher attenuation, especially at higher frequencies. Ensure bundle sizes and installation practices comply with ANSI TSB-184-A to keep temperature rise within acceptable limits.
