ACT roze 15 meter U/UTP CAT6-patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Pink 15 meter U/UTP CAT6 IB1815 patch cable is a 15 m network cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. It uses U/UTP CAT6 cable construction with RJ-45 connectors and 50 µ gold-plated contacts, housed in a PVC sheath. The pink colour helps visually identify connections and can simplify cable management in mixed environments.

Advantages

The cable complies with CAT6 standards for reliable data transmission and supports common network setups in home and office environments. Gold-plated 50 µ contacts enhance contact reliability and reduce corrosion. A 15 m length gives flexibility in placing devices without additional extensions.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and PCs in home networks
• Wiring office workstations and network equipment
• Temporary network setups and events requiring visible cabling

Key specifications

• Cable type: U/UTP CAT6
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contacts: 50 µ gold-plated
• Sheath material: PVC
• Colour: Pink

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the network ports of the devices you want to connect (for example, router to switch, switch to PC). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of interference. For fixed installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable ties to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the U/UTP CAT6 cable parallel to mains power cables for long distances and keep bend radius above the minimum recommended for Ethernet cables. Inspect connectors periodically for debris and replace the cable if connector damage or visible wear appears.
