ACT roze 5,00 meter SFTP CAT6A patchkabel rastnasenvrij met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Pink 5.00 meter SFTP CAT6A patch cable is a shielded, high-performance networking cable designed for reliable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections. It combines S/FTP shielding and Cat6a standard construction with snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts to maintain signal integrity over a 5 m run while reducing crosstalk and external interference. The pink jacket provides a distinctive visual marker for easy identification in structured cabling environments at home or in the office.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each twisted pair and an overall foil shield minimises electromagnetic interference and alien crosstalk, supporting consistent high-speed data transfer. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the plug latch during installation and removal, while gold-plated contacts improve corrosion resistance and ensure stable electrical contact. The 5.00 meter length offers flexibility for typical desk-to-patch-panel or equipment-to-switch connections without excess cable slack.

How to use

Route the ACT SFTP CAT6A patch cable between network devices such as a switch, patch panel or workstation port, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Insert the RJ45 plug fully into the port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. For neat installations, secure the cable with cable ties or management clips, keeping it separate from power lines to minimise potential interference. If terminating into panels or keystone modules, verify port orientation and test the link with a network tester to confirm performance.

Recommendations

Use this shielded Cat6a cable in environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is needed or where clear visual identification of runs improves maintenance. Ensure connectors and ports are clean and free of debris before inserting, and avoid installing under constant mechanical stress to prolong cable life. For best results in 10 Gbps applications, pair the cable with compatible shielded equipment and properly grounded racks or panels.
