Advantages

For PoE deployments limit bundle sizes and monitor cable temperature: ACT recommends a maximum bundle size of 24 slimline cables in PoE applications to limit temperature rise. Because 28 AWG conductors exhibit higher attenuation, use shorter permanent link lengths than with standard 24 AWG patch cords and follow applicable standards (for example ANSI TSB-184-A) when planning installations.
