Ethernet-kabel ProXtend CAT5e RJ-45 3m oranje

The ProXtend CAT5e U/UTP CU PVC Ethernet Cable (3 m) in orange is a durable network cable designed for reliable data transfer in 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. It uses Cat5e standard cabling with U/UTP (unshielded) construction and RJ-45 connectors plated with gold to ensure consistent connectivity and corrosion resistance. Available in copper and copper-clad aluminum conductors and multiple lengths and colors, this cable suits typical home and small office wired network needs.

Advantages

This ProXtend CAT5e cable offers standardized Cat5e performance with support for up to 1000 Mbit/s over 10/100/1000Base-T(X). The cable’s RJ-45 connectors have gold plating for improved contact reliability and reduced oxidation. Reinforced strain relief and a snagless latch protector extend connector life and ease installation. The orange PVC jacket provides visible cable identification and basic mechanical protection.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers, switches and networked devices in home and small office environments
• Wired Ethernet links for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks
• Temporary or permanent cabling where color-coded identification is helpful

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold plated
• Supported data rates: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Conductor options: copper (CU) or copper-clad aluminum (CCA) variants
• Outer jacket: orange PVC
• Weight: 0.122 kg

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure both ends are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; use the reinforced strain relief when pulling through cable runs. For longer installations, verify that the total link length and network equipment support Gigabit operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the copper (CU) variant for permanent Gigabit links and choose the orange color to simplify cable identification in installations. Avoid running unshielded cables parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce potential interference.
