Ethernetkabel ProXtend CAT6 RJ-45 15m geel

The ProXtend CAT6 U/UTP CCA Ethernet Cable is a 15 m yellow network cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Constructed with copper-clad aluminum (CCA) strands and 26 AWG wiring, the cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. Gold-plated contacts and a PVC jacket provide basic protection and reliable connectivity for home or office networks.

Advantages

This ProXtend CAT6 cable offers a cost-effective alternative to pure copper cables by using copper-clad aluminium conductors while maintaining compatibility with Gigabit Ethernet standards. The cable includes strain relief and latch protection at the connectors to reduce wear and help ensure secure, stable connections. Its yellow colour improves visibility for simple cable identification and routing.

Suitable for

• Home networks and small office setups
• Connecting routers, switches, and desktop PCs
• Temporary or visible installations where cable identification is useful

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Conductor: Copper-clad aluminium (CCA), 26 AWG
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Contacts: Gold-plated
• Colour: Yellow
• Weight: 0.328 kg

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the network ports of your devices (router, switch, PC). Ensure the connector latches click into place to establish a secure connection. Route the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference and avoid sharp bends; use cable clips or ties as needed to maintain a tidy installation. For best performance, avoid extending beyond the specified lengths for your network layout.

Recommendations

If you require maximum long-term performance and lower attenuation for demanding installations, consider a solid-copper Cat6 cable instead of CCA. For typical home and small office use where cost and visibility are priorities, this ProXtend CAT6 15 m CCA cable provides reliable Gigabit-capable connections.
