ACT Zwart 0,5 m U/FTP CAT6A LSZH Slimline-patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers, 90° haaks omlaag naar recht

ACT CAT6A U/FTP LSZH Slimline patch cable, 0.5 m, is a shielded network cable designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in compact installations. The slim 3.8 mm jacket reduces occupied space and improves airflow in server racks and network cabinets. One end is fitted with a straight RJ45 connector and the other with an RJ45 90° angled down connector, making it suitable for tight cable routes behind equipment and in patch panels.

Advantages

The slimline construction gives a smaller bend radius and lower diameter compared with standard CAT6A patch cords, which helps maintain organized routing and better airflow in cabinets. The cable uses U/FTP shielding, full copper 32 AWG conductors and 50 µ gold-plated RJ45 contacts for reliable high-speed signal transmission. The LSZH jacket reduces the risk of toxic smoke and halogen release in case of fire or severe damage.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This slimline patch cable is not ideal where maximum mechanical robustness or frequent heavy flexing is required, since the thinner jacket and smaller conductor gauge (32 AWG) are optimized for space-saving fixed or limited-movement installations. For long permanent horizontal runs or environments requiring higher tensile strength, a thicker-jacket cable with heavier gauge conductors may be more appropriate.

Key specifications

How to use

Connect the straight RJ45 end to the network device or patch panel port and the 90° angled down connector to the target port where space behind the equipment is limited. Route the cable following rack or cabinet pathways, respecting the bend radius recommended for Cat6A cables. The slim profile allows tighter bundling and closer spacing of cables while maintaining airflow. Avoid sharp kinks and excessive tension on the connectors during installation.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use this ACT CAT6A U/FTP LSZH slimline patch cable for short interconnections in dense racks and behind equipment where reduced cable diameter improves airflow and space management; avoid heavy mechanical strain and select a heavier-duty cable for long permanent runs or frequent handling.
