ACT zwart 10 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter slimline patchkabel met rastvrije RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Black 10 meter LSZH U/FTP CAT6A datacenter slimline patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is designed for data center and rack installations where space and airflow are critical. With a reduced diameter compared to regular CAT6A patch cords, this slimline cable supports high-speed transmission while maintaining U/FTP shielding and gold-plated contacts for reliable connections over a 10 m length.

Advantages

Compared with standard CAT6A patch cords, the slimline U/FTP cable has a smaller diameter (approx. 3.8 mm versus ~5.9 mm) and a tighter bending radius, which improves cable management and airflow in server racks and network cabinets. The LSZH jacket reduces harmful smoke and toxic gas in case of fire. U/FTP shielding lowers electromagnetic interference and gold-plated RJ45 contacts provide consistent signal transfer. The cable is suitable for professional environments and supports typical CAT6A performance over 10 m.

How to use

Install the ACT 10 m slimline patch cable by inserting the RJ45 connectors into the corresponding switch, patch panel or server ports until they click. Route cables to preserve the recommended bending radius and avoid sharp bends. For neat cable management in high-density environments, bundle and secure cables while maintaining separation from strong electrical interference sources. Check connector orientation before insertion to prevent damage to the latch.

Recommendations

For PoE applications follow ACT guidance and limit bundle sizes to a maximum of 24 slimline cables to control temperature rise. Note that using thinner conductors (such as 32 AWG) increases attenuation at higher frequencies; ensure the cable length and installation environment meet your performance requirements and applicable ISO/IEC or TIA standards.
