ACT Zwart 3 m U/FTP CAT6A LSZH Slimline-patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers 90° haaks omlaag naar recht

ACT Cat6A U/FTP LSZH Slimline Patch Cable, 3 m long, with one RJ45 90° (down) connector and one straight RJ45 connector. The slimline design has a reduced outer diameter (3.8 mm) compared to standard Cat6A cords, allowing a smaller bend radius and improved airflow in server racks and network cabinets. The cable features U/FTP shielding, full copper 32AWG conductors and 50 µin gold‑plated RJ45 contacts. The LSZH jacket lowers the risk of high concentrations of toxic gases in case of fire or cable damage.

Advantages

The slim 3.8 mm diameter reduces cable bulk and improves airflow inside racks and cabinets while maintaining the required bend radius for Cat6A performance. U/FTP shielding and full copper conductors help reduce crosstalk and maintain signal integrity at 10 Gbps. Gold‑plated RJ45 contacts provide reliable connectivity and corrosion resistance. The LSZH jacket reduces hazardous smoke and halogen emissions if the cable is exposed to fire.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This cable may not be suitable where extremely ruggedized or armoured cable is required, as the slimline jacket is designed for space saving rather than heavy mechanical protection. It is also not intended to replace fibre optic links where higher bandwidth over longer distances or immunity to electromagnetic interference is required.

Key specifications

How to use

Route the cable through the rack or cabinet keeping the bend radius as recommended for Cat6A. Plug the straight RJ45 connector into the device or patch panel port and insert the 90° (down) RJ45 connector into the corresponding port where a low‑profile termination is required. Avoid sharp bends, crushing, or tight kinks and do not exceed the recommended pull tension. For best performance, use with compatible Cat6A ports and test links after installation.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use this slimline Cat6A U/FTP patch cable in dense rack environments and behind equipment to save space and improve airflow; always maintain proper bend radius and test each link for Cat6A compliance after installation.
