ACT Zwart 3 meter U/UTP CAT6A LSZH Slimline patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers 90° haaks omlaag naar recht

The ACT Black 3m RJ45 Cat6A U/UTP is a slimline Cat6A patch cable with a 3.6 mm diameter jacket designed for data center and rack installations. It combines a straight RJ45 connector with a 90° angled down RJ45 connector, full copper 28 AWG conductors and 50 µ gold-plated contacts. The cable jacket is LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) to reduce hazardous smoke and gas emission in case of fire, and the cable meets the ANSI/TIA-568.2-D standard.

Advantages

The reduced diameter and smaller bend radius improve airflow in server racks and network cabinets and allow denser cable routing in confined spaces. The straight-to-90° down connector configuration facilitates neat connections behind equipment and in tight cabinet spaces. Gold-plated contacts and full copper conductors provide reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance, while the LSZH jacket lowers the risk of toxic fumes in indoor environments.

Suitable for

• Data center patching where space and airflow are limited
• Network cabinets and server racks with dense cable routing
• Connections behind wall-mounted or rack-mounted equipment
• Indoor installations requiring low-smoke cable jacket material

How to use

Connect the straight RJ45 end to the network device and the 90° angled down end to the patch panel or switch port positioned near the back of a rack or cabinet. Route the slimline cable following the rack layout to maintain the recommended bend radius and to maximize airflow. Avoid sharp kinks and secure cables using appropriate cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal airflow and maintainability in racks, bundle slimline Cat6A cables separately from thicker power bundles, and use horizontal or vertical cable managers to keep cables organized and prevent excessive bend stresses at connector ends.
